Obese Wind Turbine to Juice Homes

This Chubster is the Mag-Wind MW-1100, and according to the manufacturer can pump out 1,100 kWh per month, enough to satiate about half of the energy usage of an average home. At 4 foot tall by 4 foot diameter, it only requires an average wind speed of 13 mph to do its magic, and is able to use wind from any direction, making it more stable for areas with gusts of up to 100mph in size. It's design is also purported to take advantage of a sloped roof increasing wind speed to boost efficiency.

At an estimated energy cost of 3.5 cents per kWh over the life of the machine, this this sure gives a bang for your buck, assuming it can actually deliver.
