Oh Sanyo, when will you even give up? It's not like we'll ever actually see this beauteous machine, but you'll have to bear with me for my enthusiasm: This device from Sanyo purportedly uses both microwaves and induction heating to get your food heated in 20% of the time, using 75% of the energy, without the nasty rubber texture created by conventional microwaves, making it both green and lazy friendly. Size looks neat too, as is should be able to realistically sit on a counter top.At $5,000 and with a Japan release day this April, don't expect this thing to be gracing your eco-kitchen any time soon.
